Today is the 44th birthday of seasoned Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele-Bello.

And she is celebrating with cute photos.

But tears welled up in her eyes following a comment by another Nollywood colleague, Mercy Johnson who eulogised her for her uncommon kindness.

Reacting to Akindele’s post on Instagram, Johnson got the celebrant emotional by penning down a lovely tribute to show her respect and love for her.

Johnson said she would over celebrate Akindele because she is worth it and more, adding that anytime she calls her for a favour, the multi-talented actress effortlessly comes to her rescue with smiles.

Johnson who rated Akindele as an incredible person prayed that God will give her everything beautiful today and always.

In her words, “@funkejenifaakindele I over celebrate you today because you are worth it and more…everytime i call or ask a favour, you effortlessly come to the rescue with smiles

“Aunty Funke mi, you are an awesome person and i pray that God gives you everything beautiful today and always….”

Akindele in her reaction to Johnson’s comment stated that her words made her tear up.

She wrote: “Aww mercy. I’m tearing up. Thanks a lot my darling. You rock always.”

The mum of twin boys in one of her posts on Instagram wrote: “Happy Birthday Olufunke Akindele Bello!!! Oluwa to gbe ori e soke, o ni subu lailai. AMIN!!!”
