Lagos-based church, Daystar Christian Centre, (DCC) under the leadership of Pastors Sam and Nike Adeyemi, on Thursday, November 18, celebrated its 26th anniversary.

Sam Adeyemi, Senior Pastor of the church took to his official Instagram page to recount how the journey of faith was formally launched at a restaurant on Allen Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos.

According to him, since its launch, the church has been seeing lives transformed globally in amazing ways.

He then wished all members, workers, and leaders, past and present, and all friends a happy anniversary.

“26 years ago, a handful of us gathered at a restaurant on Allen Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos, to begin a journey of faith as we formally launched Daystar Christian Centre. What a phenomenal journey it has been seeing lives transformed globally in amazing ways. What a privilege to be called and chosen to lead the beginning of such a great vision. We give all glory to God, who has worked with us to confirm His word.

The church has its mission defined as “To empower you and I to discover, develop, release and maximize our potentials in God.”
