Nollywood actor, Adeniyi Johnson has joined other Nigerians lamenting about the rate of kidnapping on Lagos-Ibadan express road.

He recently challenged the OPC leader, Otunba Gani Adams to speak against kidnapping happening in Yoruba land. He said the insecurity has affected so many businesses and he is not left out.

He complained that people now over speed and are now reckless because of the fear of being kidnapped.

Even while in traffic, people will be pressing their central locks every now and then. And they would be looking around every minute because they are afraid of being robbed despite the fact that there are security operatives around.

He accused Gani Adams of keeping quiet about it as if it is only the masses that are affected. He reminded him that he has relatives plying the route as well.

Military men are also keeping quiet but some of them have their children plying the same route since it is not all of them that can afford to send their children abroad.

The actor stated that he is voicing out because his job requires him traveling out of Lagos State to shoot movies but he can no longer do that because of the fear of being kidnapped.

complaining of the bills to pay and mouths to feed, he mentioned that some of his colleagues have said Ibadan is no longer a go area for them because of the insecurity on the road.

Finally, he encouraged people to vote wisely in 2023 and they should not stop praying for Nigeria. He prayed for those who have lost a loved one that God will continue to comfort them.
