Nollywood star actress, Tonto Dikeh, has reacted to the call out by her colleague, Ada Karl, over alleged unpaid debt from 15 years ago.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Karl said Dikeh bought shoes, clothes and gold worth N80,000 and promised to pay later but failed to do so several years later.

The TV host also said she would collect eight million naira instead, adding that the amount has appreciated in value.

Karl further accused Dikeh of being ungrateful. She claimed she brought the actress into Nollywood and “sponsored you with my last sweat till you had your breakthrough and vanished from my life”.

“Tonto Dikeh, please pay me my N8m & I take your name off my mouth. Till then, I will keep my mouth where my money is. Last time, you said I am bitter, yes I am, I want my money.”

“For all my investment into your career, I leave that for God to judge you. I know say you get mouth & will give an epic reply but glad the world has figured out your true colour because all the ‘online friends’ tagged me the evil one when I last asked you for my money.”

Responding via her Instagram story, Dikeh admitted that Karl supported her in the past but denied owing her.

“Ada Ada, you still bitter like this? If them leave me, you fit beat me? I don’t owe you jack, 15 years ago you helped a little girl(me). If you want a ‘pay you back’, say it.”

“I am rich now. You need to heal girl. Thanks, like I always say, for looking out for me. You can send your account details to my management.

“Have a good life Ada. I promise you you’re gonna heal. Just open your heart to the process.”
