AY opens up on rumoured rift with Basketmouth

Nigerian comedian and actor, Ayodeji Richard Makun, popularly known as AY, has opened up on his rumoured rift with colleague, Bright Okpocha.
There have been rumours that the two have been at logger head.
In an interactive session on Instagram, fans of AY had asked him to address his rumoured rift with Basketmouth.
A fan asked;
“Do you really have any issues with Basketmouth?”
The entertainer responded by saying;
“I don’t have issues with Basketmouth. But people having unnecessary issues with you are the price you sometimes pay for being progressive.”
“He has been battling with an uncontrollable superiority complex for the longest. So, avoiding his incessant childishness only became necessary for my own sanity.”
When further asked if both of them don’t talk to each other, he replied: “we only talk to those who want to talk to us. Does this make sense?”
Basketmouth is yet to react to AY’s comment as of the time of this report but in August 2021, he had also opened up about his alleged rift with AY, saying “he messed with loyalty”.
