Refined Comfort: An In-Depth Review of Tranquil Tide Couture’s Fredrick Collection
By Josephine Agbonkhese
The Fredrick Collection is a collection that can be described as being for stylish and natural leaders who are looking to dress the part while also showing off their calm, playful, or fun-loving sides.

According to the brand Tranquil Tide Couture, the collection’s name is said to mean peaceful ruler.
The collection is poised to be yearned for by every man out there as it contains colorful fabrics simple yet elegantly designed clothes that will elevate the look of any of its wearers.
The Frederick collection boasts cloth designs such as shirts, trousers, shorts, Danshiki, and Kaftan.
These are tailored with Plain and patterned Crepe, Satin, Cotton, and Chino. Each trouser, Kaftan, and Danshiki is made with a mix of Cotton and Chino to give the wearer comfort and durability.
The shorts and buttoned shirts are made with Crepe and Satin, and the texture of these fabrics is such that they are super smooth to the touch and soft on the skin.

The Fredrick collection’s Kaftans, Shirts, and Danshiki trousers are crafted with three neck designs: Crewneck, bishop neck, and V-neck, indicating that Crewneck can serve the dual purpose of being a simple shirt on its own or as an undergarment for the V-neck and the Bishop neck shirts.
The trousers are made with slightly wide bottoms and flat fronts. Also, some trousers have uncuffed and cuffed pants for men to choose from. The shorts are equally made, with a few cuffed in and some uncuffed, which allows for adjusting the length and making it more suitable for the wearer.
The Kaftans and Danshikis are made in such a way that they are either fitted at the shoulders and free from the breast down or fitted all through to give a form-hugging style.
The Fredrick Collection boasts White, Maroon, Black, Grey, Brown, Blue, and Green colors. These colors are such that they can complement one another, thus giving a measure of versatility to the owner of the clothes from this collection.
The Blue shirts, for example, can be paired with Black or Grey shorts or trousers. The shirts, kaftans, and even Danshiki from this collection can also be paired with trousers or shorts from other collections, as the designs are simple and striking.
However, the collection had fewer Kaftans and Danshikis, which detracts from its purposed versatility. The collection was touted to showcase the playful side of men, but there were more shirts and trousers than Kaftans and Danshikis.
We hope the brand will be more devoted to fully embodying everything it describes in the collection.
We look forward to the next collection.
