The little over three-minute song was made more enjoyable for listeners thanks to the dance challenges on Tiktok and Instagram, which raised interest in it.

Both younger and older age groups have expressed interest in the song, which has also gained popularity on both the domestic and global levels.

President George Weah of Liberia and Rotimi Amaechi, a former transportation minister, are two notable figures who have danced to the song.

The song “Buga” has become the most well-known in Nigeria since its debut on May 3, 2022.
