MC Oluomo steps in to defend Portable amidst investigation
After making a remark about starting “One Million Boys,” Portable has faced reaction and alleged threats. However, MC Oluomo has stepped in to defend him.
The cult organization “One Million Boys” gained notoriety for terrorizing locals in several areas of Lagos state in the past.
The inspector general of police requested an investigation despite the fact that he would subsequently clarify that he meant “one million Instagram followers.”
The head of the Lagos State Park and Garages Management, whose real identity is Musiliu Akinsanya, seemed to have promised the singer protection from “thugs” in a video that surfaced on Friday morning.
“Listen to me. Anywhere in Lagos state. You said he should not step foot in Agege,” Oluomo warned in Yoruba. Who are those in Agege? We’re the ones. You also said he shouldn’t step foot in Oshodi and Lekki. Who are those in charge of these places? We’re the ones. Please stop it.”
Towards the end of the video, Portable continues to refer to Oluomo as “the king of street-smart locals in Lagos.”
A promoter named Sammy Larry was one of the people Portable mentioned during his outburst about cults as having seen his influence there.
But Larry publicly renounced the singer.
