Top skit makers in 2022: Sabinus, Taooma
Chukwuemeka Emmanuel, also known as Sabinus or Mr Funny, and Maryam Apaokagi, also known as Taoooma, have emerged as Instagram’s top skit creators for the second quarter of 2022.
The data intelligence and global digital eco-system company, Dataleum, issued its quarterly insights on Monday, which made this information public.
Taooma claimed the top spot in the female category, while Mr Funny, who took home the Online Social Content Creators at this year’s Africa Movie Viewers Choice Award, emerged as the top Male Instagram Skit Maker in the second quarter.
Mr. Funny’s skits and reels received 44 million views during the quarter under review, and he added more than 800,000 Instagram followers.
Taooma’s skits and reels on Instagram received 24.2 million views, and she concluded the quarter with 4 million followers as opposed to 3.5 million in March 2022.
