Mavin Records led by Michael Collins Ajereh, better known as Don Jazzy’s company has emerged Africa’s fastest growing entertainment brand.

At the Global Brands Awards 2022 ceremony, which was hosted by Global Brand Magazine, the record label received the honor.

It was honored in appreciation of its extraordinary contribution to the development of the entertainment sector in Nigeria and Africa, and was included among other winners in the magazine’s most recent issue.

On 7th May 2012, Don Jazzy announced Mavin Records. He said, “I see Mavin Records being the power house of Music in Africa in the shortest possible time.”

Korede Bello, Dr. SID, D’Prince, Di’Ja, Johnny Drille, Ladipoe, DNA Twins, Rema, Ayra Starr, Magixx, and Boy Spyce are just a few of the musicians the company has signed.

Formerly signed to the label were Tiwa Savage, Wande Coal, Reekado Banks, and Iyanya.
