Family releases burial announcement of late actress, Ada Ameh
At her home in Ogobia Otukpo LGA in Benue State, the well-known Nollywood actress, Ada Ameh, better known as Emuakpor Johnson, in the sitcom, The Johnsons, will be laid to rest on August 26.
Her relative, Friday Ameh, revealed her funeral arrangements on Instagram on Monday.
Ameh, 48, passed away on July 17 in a hospital in Delta State.
On August 19, a novelty game will be played at the Nathaniel Odogwu pitch in Lagos to mark the beginning of Ameh’s funeral. That evening, a candlelight vigil will be held at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos.
On August 25, Saint Mary’s Primary School Ogobia in Benue State will host a second candle night.
Ameh lost her only child, Aladi God’s gift, who was older than 30 years old, in October 2020 following
a failed operation in Abuja.
She stated in various interviews that since her daughter’s passing, things had changed significantly.
The 48-year-old had a history of mental illness before she passed away.
After her daughter died and she lost six siblings, she disclosed that she had been suffered from mental illness.
