PMAN to introduce biometric membership card for current members
At its upcoming first National Executive Council Convention, the Performing Musicians Employers’ Association of Nigeria, or PMAN, plans to introduce its biometric identity card.
The card was created in collaboration with Zenith Bank, according to the PMAN President, Pretty Okafor.
During the weekday event, Okafor said: “PMAN is proud to announce that its new and improved biometrics ID cards will be issued to the first batch of registered members across the country.”
The event “promises to begin the ball rolling for larger things to come for the progress and betterment of the entertainment industry in Nigeria and beyond,” added Okafor, urging the invited attendees to heed the invitation.
Zaaki Azay, the second vice president of the PMAN, continued, “The progress in PMAN is borne out of the synergy and unity in the association, made possible through a series of court judgments that have authenticated and reaffirmed Pretty Okafor as the national leader and have prohibited any act of factionalization within the musicians’ union.”
At the NEC meeting, which will focus on the biometric card registration push, representatives from all over the nation are anticipated.
