Record management reveals success of Eedris Abdulkareem’s transplant
According to Eedris Abdulkareem’s record company, Lakreem Entertainment Inc., the kidney transplant was a success for the hip-hop artist.
The sick rapper received a kidney transplant on Monday morning thanks to his wife Yetunde, who provided the organ.
Recall that Eedris had been getting dialysis because he was recently told he had kidney failure.
The singer’s manager, Mike Pam, announced the transplant was successful and thanked and appreciated all well-meaning Nigerians, both at home and in the diaspora.
Mr. Pam also expressed his gratitude to the artist’s global admirers in a message on his Facebook page for “pray[ing] for, caring for, reaching out to, and supporting this lovely couple during this health crisis.”
“As the recovery and healing process begins for both of them with the best that science can offer, under the ever benevolent gaze of the Almighty God, surrounded by the love and care of family, we ask that the prayers and support be sustained as they gradually get back on their feet again.
We must emphasise that Nigerians are indeed the peak of the pack when the need arises. We as a People are awesome; all we need is good and purposeful governance. Indeed, our God is good, all the time.”
