David A. Arnold, a comedian and Netflix star, died at the age of 54, according to his family.

The Fuller House writer died from ‘natural causes’ at home, barely three dates into his comedy tour, ‘Pace Ya Self.’

In a message to the Los Angeles Times, his family stated:

It is with great sadness that we confirm the untimely passing of our husband, father, brother and friend, David A. Arnold.

David passed away peacefully today in his home and doctors have ruled the cause of death due to natural causes.

Please keep our family in prayer and respect our privacy at this time, as we are all shocked and devastated by this loss.

He released a video of one of his hilarious performances on Instagram just hours before his death.

David wrote:

I’ll never forget the day my oldest decided between my wife and me who she was gonna send to the nursing home.

It generated emotional reactions from friends and fans.

His death has not yet been announced on his social media accounts or website.

The comedian and writer debuted at the Montreal Comedy Festival and then performed on Jamie Foxx’s Laffapalooza.

David has two Netflix stand-up specials to his credit.

He released David A. Arnold: Fat Ballerina in 2019 and It Ain’t For The Weak in July of this year.
