Rev. Chris Okotie reveals he won’t get married again
Reverend Chris Okotie, the founder of the Household of God Church, has declared his stance on a third marriage after two failed marriages.
The cleric was first married to Tina, but their marriage ended in 2001. He then married Stephanie Henshaw in 2008, but the relationship failed in 2012.
Rev Okotie told the BBC that he does not want to marry for the third time.
Okotie went On to add that God called him to stay celibate like Apostle Paul in the Bible, but he didn’t realize it until he was older.
When asked if he would marry again, he replied, “I’m not getting married again.”
“I’m not getting married again because Jesus has already told me that one has ended. When I was saved, when I became born again, I was in the university at the time, I did not understand the will of God for my life. I always said I wanted my own family and all that and I went and did what I wanted.”
