Six Inducted into the MMS Women of Fortune Hall of Fame 2022

Six notable women who have distinguished themselves in their various fields of endeavour, have been inducted into the Women of Fortune Hall of Fame, an annual event organized by the Money Management Series, MMS.

Dame Pauline Tallen, Minister of Women Affairs, led the pack of honorees. Others are Princess (Dr.) Vicky Haastrup; Vice-chairman, ENL Consortium Ltd
Princess Clara Chinwe Nwaebili: Comm. For Transport and Former Speaker, Anambra State House of Assembly.
Dr. Magdalene Ajani: Perm. Sec., Fed. Ministry of Transportation. Adaku Okam; Director, Human Resources Management Nigerian Shippers’ Council
and Barr. Augustina Igbokwe; Managing Director, Tyse Oil & Gas Ltd.
This year’s event, which held at the Golden Gate Restaurant Ikoyi, also featured a symposium on Gender Strategy.
Guest speaker, and Chairperson, Zoe Maritime Resources Limited, Mrs. Oritsematosan Edodo-Emore, while referencing a report by Gender Strategy Advancement Initiative, noted that there are only seven women out of the 109 Nigerian senators and 22 of the nation’s 360 House of Representatives members are women.
Emore urged the Federal Government and political players to begin the process of genuine distribution of leadership power between male and the female gender in the promotion of gender balancing.
With the six new inductees, the total number of Hall of Famers has reached 60, as revealed by founder of MMS WOFHOF Initiative, Mr. Kingsley Anaroke, who also noted that over 3000 women have been empowered by the Initiative since its inception.
