Burna Boy becomes first African artist to perform at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
Ebunoluwa Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, will perform as the opening act at the first-ever event to feature an African vocalist at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in 2023.
The stadium in the UK, which can hold 80,000 people for concerts and 66,000 for sporting activities, will host the performer’s “Love Damini” tour in 2023.
All hands are already on deck to make sure that all tickets are sold out for the June event.
The award-wining artist will conclude the year with an international tour that begins on Wednesday with a performance in Switzerland.
In December, he would also make stops in Sweden, Ireland, the US, France, and Jamaica.
