Why tweet condeming Deborah’s murder was deleted – Atiku Abubakar
Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, has stated why his tweet condemning Deborah’s murder was deleted.
At the Channels Television people’s town hall meeting on Sunday, Atiku was asked by a random Twitter user why he deleted his tweet condemning the murder.
He responded by saying he asked that the tweet be removed because he did not authorise the content before it was posted in the first place, but he went on to condemn it in subsequent tweets.
In his words;
I asked the tweet to be deleted because I normally approve every tweet and since I did not approve the tweet, I asked them to delete it. If you read my subsequent statement on that murder, I condemned it.
