Why I prefer seasoned actors for steamy scenes – Nancy Isime

Acting is a profession that requires dedication and discipline, and for actors, kissing and sex scenes are often part of the job. However, not everyone enjoys them, and Nollywood actress, Nancy Isime, is no exception.

In a recent interview with media personality, Dadaboy, Isime revealed why she prefers to do such scenes with seasoned actors.

Isime, who has starred in several Nollywood movies, noted that although she dislikes kissing and sex scenes, she would rather do it with seasoned actors, who understand the profession. According to her, such actors are more professional and focused on delivering their roles.

“Well, it’s a script, and Yes, I do kiss in movies, but why will I enjoy it? 5,000 people around you. Enjoy what? I never enjoy doing anything. There are cameras around, it’s a scene,” she said.

Isime further explained that working with experienced actors helps to create a comfortable atmosphere on set, which is essential for delivering a good performance.

“I prefer to actually have kissing scenes with seasoned actors who understand the professionalism of a kissing scene or a sex scene. Sex scene, of course, because everybody is all dressed up but there is movement. So there are literally people who understand the job and are focused and are literally just running through a script,” she added.

The actress, who is also a TV host and model, emphasized the importance of professionalism in the entertainment industry, stating that it is essential for actors to be disciplined and dedicated to their craft.

she said'”It’s not about how good you look or how popular you are. It’s about how dedicated you are to your job and how professional you can be,” she said.

Isime’s stance on kissing and sex scenes with seasoned actors is not uncommon in the entertainment industry, as many actors believe that working with experienced colleagues helps to create a more comfortable and professional atmosphere on set.
