Kokamz Couture Kids to hold Summer Spray Fashion Week Show

Kokamz Couture Kids is set to hold its annual fashion show, titled Kokamz Couture Kids/Teen Fashion Show.

Uzoma Johnson

The event is organized by Uzoma Johnson, the Creative Director and Founder of Kokamz Couture, and her team. The show is aimed at bringing together clients’ children and Kokamz models to foster inclusion and social connection, and to showcase Kokamz as a timeless brand akin to Zara, Denim, HM, and others.

After holding successful editions over the years, the fashion entrepreneur has confirmed that the 2024 edition of the show, titled Kokamz Couture Kids Summer Spray Fashion Week, will take place in Aba, Abia State.

The aim of the show is to empower children by instilling values such as outspokenness, morals, and education, promoting fashion, and creating a sense of belonging. Kokamz Couture models are integrated with these values during rehearsals, which has led to increased client engagement and recognition. Additionally, the brand appreciates the models by allowing them to take home any clothes they showcase.

“Another show is scheduled for Easter 2024; titled Kokamz Couture Kids Summer Spray Fashion Week. This is mainly to extend the brand’s presence to the streets of Aba. The shows aim to empower children, fostering outspokenness, instilling morals amidst fame, promoting fashion, and creating a sense of belonging. The impact has been substantial, benefiting Kokamz Couture models by integrating morals and education into rehearsals. The brand has witnessed increased client engagement and recognition,” she stated.

Apart from hosting Kids Shows, the Kokamz Couture brand has also graced other notable runway platforms such as Fashion Fusion UK at Birmingham City, Lagos Fashion Festival, Gtco Fashion Weekend, and Aba Fashion Show.

Uzoma Johnson draws her inspiration from industry players such as Zara Kids, Vicky James, Toskyme House of Fashion, and Sergio Hudson, who have a unique way of sourcing quality materials and bringing them to last for a long time.

The brand looks forward to featuring in London fashion shows and many others.
