Sexy Red Pout

Because red lipstick is a classic, a colour of confidence, it needs to be applied perfectly.
Once you’ve found your perfect shade, make sure your makeup and lipstick application are flawless.

Follow these steps for the perfect sexy pout.

Step 1: Prep Your Lips
The journey to bold lips begins with well-prepped lips. Exfoliate your lips using a lip scrub or a toothbrush to remove dead skin cells, ensuring a smooth canvas for your lip colour. Follow up with a nourishing lip balm to hydrate and plump up your lips, allowing the bold colour to glide on effortlessly.

Step 2: Line and Define
Grab a lip liner that matches your chosen lipstick shade. Begin by outlining your lips, following their natural shape to create definition and prevent feathering. Fill in the rest of your lips with the liner for a long-lasting, intense colour payoff.

Step 3: Choose the Perfect Shade
When it comes to bold lips, the world is your oyster. Opt for classic reds, deep berries, bold pinks, or even daring oranges to make a statement. Select a shade that complements your skin tone and enhances your features.

Step 4: Apply the Lipstick
Using a lip brush for precision, apply your bold lipstick, starting at the center of your lips and blending outwards. This technique ensures an even application and prevents any harsh lines. Build up the colour gradually, blotting in between layers for a long-lasting finish.

Step 5: Clean Up the Edges
To ensure a polished look, clean up any smudges or uneven lines using a concealer and a small brush. This will create a sharp contrast between your lips and the surrounding skin, making your bold lip look even more striking.

Step 6: Set the Colour
To lock in your bold lip colour, lightly dust translucent powder or a setting spray over your lips. This will help to prevent fading, smudging, and transfer, ensuring your lips stay bold and beautiful all day long.
