The 2024 GTCO Food and Drink Festival, with the theme “A Celebration of Authentic Flavours,” provided a convivial atmosphere where thousands of attendees explored new cuisines and learned invaluable tips from culinary experts.

The street foods were a particular highlight of the festival, offering a more informal and accessible way to sample a variety of dishes from across Nigeria.

From suya (spicy grilled meat) to moin moin (steamed bean pudding), Port Harcourt’s favourite Bole and fish, cowleg delicacy,, various variety of rice, including jollof, coconut and Native rice, Amala, Ile iyan for pounded yam to small chips amongst others, the street bukas were a hive of activity and a true testament to the diversity of Nigerian food culture.
No doubt the GTCO Food and Drink Festival 2024, was a testament to the power of food in bringing people together and celebrating cultural diversity.
