Actress Mary Njoku wades into 2Baba Annie’s divorce saga
Nollywood actress Mary Remmy Njoku has weighed in on the marital issues between her colleague, Annie Macaulay, and singer 2Baba, also known as Innocent Idibia.
Concerns arose when 2Baba publicly announced his separation from Annie on Sunday. Although he initially claimed that his Instagram account had been hacked, he later shared a video confirming that he had personally posted the controversial divorce announcement.
In response to the situation, Njoku criticized Idibia for “humiliating” Annie at her “lowest” point. She mentioned that she and other members of Annie’s support system had chosen to remain silent out of respect for the difficult decisions Annie has had to make. Njoku urged 2Baba to be prepared to address questions regarding the situation when the time comes.
2Baba and Annie got married in May 2012 and have two daughters, Isabella and Olivia.
