The latest collection ‘Bold Narrative’ from Nigerian fashion designer, Akindele Mary Tosin of Ramyjoo Apparel brand, showcases a masterful fusion of contemporary styling with traditional African aesthetics.


This review focuses on designs that exemplify the designer’s innovative approach to modern African fashion.


This collection, featuring Agbada outfits, senators, kaftans, gowns, and women’s two-piece sets is a testament to Mary’s profound creativity, technical expertise, and dedication to preserving tradition through fashion.

In the first ensemble, we see a striking combination of a fitted black dress transformed by a dramatic flared bottom adorned with vibrant orange and black Ankara print.

The pattern work displays a rhythmic arrangement of floral motifs that creates visual movement and depth.
