Olokpo catering service app launched in Lagos
Olokpo, a new catering service app that will help connect customers with food vendors and caterers within their locations across the country has been launched in Lagos.

In her welcome address at the launch, held at Radisson Blu Hotel in Ikeja, the founder, Jennifer Onose-Eromosele, stated that the launch, which she described as a movement, is aimed at transforming the future of food in Nigeria. She added that the platform affords caterers, bakers, mixologists, event planners, and chefs the opportunity to showcase their skills and connect with clients instantly, helping them grow their business with ease.

“Today is a very great day for us as we launch our app. We are not just launching our app, we are starting a community. Olokpo simplifies the process of hiring culinary professionals, making it easier for individuals and businesses to find caterers, chefs, mixologists, and other food experts. The Lagos State commissioner for Agriculture and Food Systems, Abisola Olusanya, who was represented by the Permanent Secretary, Emmanuel Audu, urged food entrepreneurs to leverage digital solutions such as the Olokpo catering app, to tap into the growing food market while reaffirming the states’ commitment to supporting the culinary industry.
“We are not just concerned with producing food. We are very particular about how the food we produce gets to the table as prepared, packaged, processed, and preserved food.

The app will also be launched across African countries like Kenya and Ghana.
