I spoke with God before making Priscilla Ojo’s wedding dress – Veekee James

Celebrity fashion designer Veekee James has shared the challenges she faced while designing Priscilla Ojo’s wedding dress, describing the project as both a personal dream and a significant professional achievement.

This revelation comes amid growing speculation regarding Veekee’s notable absence from Priscilla’s star-studded traditional wedding in Lagos, which was a highly publicized event featuring a guest list filled with dignitaries, entertainment elites, and Big Brother Naija housemates.

In a video posted on her Instagram page, Veekee opened up about the toll the design process took on her, stating that she even lost her voice due to extreme exhaustion. “Do you know I even lost my voice because of this stress? I’m short of words for so many reasons,” she said.

Veekee explained that before creating Priscilla’s wedding dress, she sought guidance from God, expressing her desire to craft a masterpiece for the bride. According to her, the gown’s creation took several intense weeks and extended into a month, distinguishing it from anything she had ever designed before.

She referred to the project as a labor of love, filled with prayer and precision. The Instagram video also features Priscilla expressing her admiration for Veekee, visibly moved by the final result, which exceeded her expectations.
