Davido visits President Bola Tinubu in Lagos
On Monday, President Bola Tinubu hosted the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, at his residence in Lagos.
Also present at the meeting were prominent businessman Chief Adedeji Adeleke, who is the governor’s brother, and his son, Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido.
This information was shared in a statement by the Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday. He wrote, “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu receives in audience H.E. Ademola Adeleke, the Executive Governor of Osun State, along with Chief Adedeji Adeleke and his son, Afrobeats star Davido, at his residence in Lagos.”
The purpose of the meeting has not been disclosed to the press, and no official statement has been issued by the Presidency or the visitors at this time.
Photographs from the visit have circulated on social media, showing the President in a private meeting with the Adeleke family members.
