Lagos was alive with glitz and glamour as renowned businessman and socialite Michael Afolaranmi CEO of “Twelve Baskets” celebrated his 50th birthday at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Ikeja. The star-studded event, themed “The 50th Affair,” attracted a distinguished crowd of Nigerian dignitaries, business leaders, and entertainment personalities.
The night sparkled with high energy as guests, including Permanent Secretary Rasheed Muri Okunola and CEOs Morola Olabisi Babalola and Olanike Solanke, mingled in style. Comedians MC Ijele and Gbenga Adeyinka delivered performances that kept the audience entertained throughout the evening. A best-dressed competition added extra flair, awarding the winner a grand prize of N300,000.

In his heartfelt speech, Afolaranmi, affectionately known as the “King of Small Chops,” thanked his family, friends, and supporters for their unwavering encouragement.
