Africa is set to witness a historic moment in entertainment and empowerment as LFC Int’l Production Limited, in partnership with Christian Ruart Fashion Group New York and New York Fashion Week, unveils the Queen of Africa Beauty Election (Africa’s First Lady Reality TV Show) — the first reality competition of its kind on the continent.

The show, which officially kicks off with a world press conference in the coming weeks, will introduce 54 contestants from across Africa who will reside in a royal palace for 90 days, engaging in a series of cultural showcases, leadership challenges, mentorship sessions, and live-streamed competitions. Viewers across the globe will participate in real-time voting as contestants represent their nations, highlighting Africa’s diverse traditions, elegance, intelligence, and strength of character.
“This is more than a beauty pageant — it’s a platform for rebirth, a beacon of hope for African women,” said Jerry Jide Obi, Executive Producer and founder of LFC Int’l Production Limited. “The Queen of Africa will be a cultural ambassador, humanitarian figure, and a voice of unity for Africa. We are giving the world a new symbol of African excellence.”

The crowned Queen will receive a brand-new Innoson Jeep, a $50,000 salary, and serve a two-year reign attending top global events, promoting African culture, and launching humanitarian projects such as free education centers, digital empowerment initiatives, and healthcare campaigns across underserved communities.
The show will culminate in a grand finale at the Eko Convention Centre, Lagos, judged by a panel of 12 African and international icons. Millions of viewers are expected to tune in and vote via digital platforms and social media. Sponsorship opportunities are open, with tailored packages offering brands global visibility, product placement, and social impact alignment.
Behind the production are industry heavyweights:
Christian Ruart, a legendary Hollywood and fashion show producer known for The Wendy Williams Show, Real Housewives of Atlanta, and New York Fashion Week.
Jerry Jide Obi, a veteran showrunner with credits on Nigeria’s Next Super Model, MBGN, Africa Fashion & Art Festival, and more. He is also Creative Director of Glamour Magazine West Africa.
James Corbett, a major producer at New York Fashion Week, and founder of Runways on Fire.
“This show is a cultural revolution,” said Christian Ruart. “We’re building a platform that not only entertains but uplifts, educates, and transforms lives.”
With its powerful blend of culture, empowerment, and purpose, Queen of Africa promises to be the biggest reality show to come out of Africa — one with a mission to unite the continent and amplify its voice on the global stage.
