Africa Celebrates has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Kuriftu Resorts to host its 2025 Cultural Night at the prestigious Kuriftu Resort and Spa African Village in Melka Nono, just 30 minutes from Addis Ababa.
The Africa Celebrates 2025 Cultural Night, scheduled for November 6, promises an evening of funfair, rich cultural showcases, and unlimited entertainment featuring African music, dance, and cuisines from across the continent.

The MOU was signed by Lexy Mojo-Eyes, President/CEO of Legendary Gold Limited, and Tesfaye Gebremichael, Executive Director of Afronova, on behalf of Africa Celebrates. Representing Kuriftu Resorts were Mahlet Tadiwos, Deputy Operations Director, and Yonaiel Tadiwos, Operations Director.
Africa Celebrates is a continental initiative dedicated to promoting Africa’s unity in diversity, while encouraging economic, social, and regional integration. The platform highlights Africa’s rich art, culture, heritage, trade, investment opportunities, and knowledge exchange in science and technology—fostering collaboration towards a prosperous Africa.
The annual event is packaged and organized by Legendary Gold Limited and its Ethiopian partner, Afronova, in collaboration with the African Union Commission, United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), the Embassies of Nigeria, Burundi, and Côte d’Ivoire, with the support of the Ethiopian Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Tourism.
Other partners include the US Mission to the African Union, Morocco Mission to the African Union, Ethiopian Airlines, Skylight Hotel, DCT Entertainment, Kana TV, and the European Union Delegation to the African Union.
