SPARKLE THIS CHRISTMAS

As the holiday season approaches, couples often find themselves caught up in the hustle and bustle of gift-giving, decorating, and social events. Amidst the chaos, it’s easy to lose sight of what’s truly important- nurturing your relationship.

Having a sparkly Christmas can be magical and entertaining as long as you take advantage of the numerous opportunities in the season!
One way to add sparkle to your relationship is to establish a romantic holiday tradition:

★Set aside a special evening: plan festive dates to view holiday lights by taking a walk or drive around the neighbourhood to admire the Christmas light displays together. It’s a beautiful way to connect, create cozy romantic atmosphere at home and incorporating playful connection. It also helps you build activities into the holiday season.
★Gift-giving is also an intimate way to show your love and appreciation. Consider gifting your partner something that speaks to your relationship, such as a customised photo album or a piece of jewelry that holds sentimental value.

★You can plan a surprise getaway for a cozy bed and breakfast or a romantic evening to make the holiday season even more special.

★In the midst of holiday stress, prioritise quality time with your partner: schedule regular date nights, take breaks from holiday preparations, and engage in activities that bring you both joy. This can be as simple as cooking a romantic dinner together, or creating a custom playlist of your favourite love songs.

★Build new traditions: focus on creating your own unique family holiday tradition as lovebirds, getting a new ornament that reminds you of each other and this you can pass on to your children.

★Intimacy: invest in the different types of intimacy: the season helps with the opportunity to deepen various connections such as recreational intimacy (engaging in fun together), financial intimacy (planning budget together), and sexual intimacy (exploring physical connection and romance).

★Unplug and Chat: get cuddled up in a dimly-lit room and have an old fashioned talk, focusing solely on one another without any form of distraction from phones, work or family obligations, sharing stories of your holiday favourite memories.

As the night falls on Christmas eve, take a moment to gaze into spouse’s eyes, remember the reasons you fell in love, the laughter you shared, and the memories you have created together.
So why not start now?
Add some sparkle to your relationship this Christmas, and make it a holiday to treasure forever!
