Lagos-based entrepreneur and creative founder, Okpara Judith Amarachi, is making a significant mark in Nigeria’s creative industry through the growing influence of AmyAfrique Art Gallery, a platform she describes as more than a business venture but “a life and a story of becoming.”

Following the official opening of the gallery over the weekend, she shared insights into the initiative’s vision, its role in supporting artists, and its long-term impact on the African art landscape.

According to her, AmyAfrique Art Gallery was established out of a deep passion for African creativity and a commitment to establishing a sustainable platform that gives artists visibility, recognition, and support.

She explained that the gallery seeks to tell stories of culture, identity, resilience, and the vast potential embedded within African art.

Amarachi emphasised that the gallery’s exhibitions are carefully curated to showcase themes of identity, heritage, hope, resilience, and human connection.
