COUPLES @ PLEASURE MAPPING

The body is actually a map of its own with different erogenous zones that, when touched or stimulated, can produce heightened sensations and pleasure for the giver and receiver.

Some zones like the genitals and nipples, are more commonly known, and other areas on the body that can elicit powerful responses when explored often get ignored.
The act of pleasure mapping involves touching, stroking, or applying pressure to different areas of your lover’s body, observing and talking about the sensations that arise in the process.

Here’s How It Works:

Create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, set the mood by dimming the lights, lighting candles, playing soft music, and ensuring the room temperature is just right for you and your spouse’s comfort levels.

Start the process by using your fingers or a feather to touch the different erogenous zones of your lover’s body lightly and gently.
It’s best to discuss with your partner about their comfort levels, boundaries, and areas they are curious about. It’s essential to agree on a safe word or signal that either partner can use to pause or stop the activity.

Pleasure mapping can be a wonderfully reciprocal experience. After one partner has been mapped, it’s time to switch roles, allowing partners to discover and appreciate each other’s bodies better.

Write the types of touches your guy/bae enjoyed most on your notepad, phone or a journal; as it will come in handy as reference for future intimate sessions.

Couples’ preferences can change based on stress levels or age, regular pleasure mapping will ensure you stay in tune with each other’s changing needs and desires.

Using lubricants can help change body sensation which is a bonus for pleasure mapping. So, be sure to have lubricant on standby.

Here are some gains of pleasure mapping:

Expand pleasure by exploring new sensations and erogenous zones which can lead to the discovery of previously untapped sources of pleasure, enhancing the sexual experience for both of you.

Pleasure mapping can help break the monotony of routine sexual encounters by taking turns at reciprocal experiences. This allows lovebirds to keep their erotic experiences fresh and exciting.

Focus on the sensations and pleasure that your bodies can offer rather on appearance. Address any form of body shame as it helps to shift negative self-perceptions and promote a greater appreciation of couples’ bodies.

Indulging in it requires open, and honest talk between lovers, plus making sure boundaries are respected, and desires are understood.

The goal at the end of the day, is to improve sexual pleasure, arousals, and overall sexual wellbeing.
