    Nigerian singer, Timaya, has confirmed the passing of Nnamdi, his manager and best friend, who was shot dead in Atlanta at a gas station. Around nine o’clock on Wednesday night, the 38-year-old stopped at the BP station located at Atlantic Drive and 14th Street NW, close to Georgia Tech. He had been in the store’s queue for a few minutes when he saw some people attempting to get into his automobile.  One of the men shot him as he raced outside the shop to approach them. He was taken to the hospital right away but later died from his wounds. Police claim that the suspects, who are still on the loose after the incident, were spotted driving away in a gray four-door sedan and traveling west on 14th Street NW. Timaya paid his respects to the dead on Twitter where he confirmed his death.  He stated that he had only recently made up with his pal before the sad incident.     Panshak Zamani, singer better known by his stage name, Ice Prince, has been taken into custody by the Lagos state police force on an accusation of assaulting a police officer. Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police Command’s public relations officer, revealed this in a statement that was posted on Twitter on Friday. A police officer had allegedly stopped Ice Prince for driving without a license plate after receiving a complaint. He was however, later kidnapped in the car by the singer of “Oleku,” who had initially agreed to follow him straight to the station, was assaulted by him, and threatened to be thrown into the lagoon.
