Tortilla Breakfast Wrap

Tortilla is a kind of flat wheat bread made of finely ground wheat , sugar free and excellent for diabetic patients and people who crave bread and are trying to stay away from it. It somewhat differs from the unlevened bread used in making sharwama based on its soft texture and size. In this recipe we will be making a diabetic wrap with vegetable and egg filling.
Ingredients
- Tortilla
- Cabbage
- Celery
- Carrot
- Red Onions
- Eggs
- Cinnamon
- Garlic
- Ginger
- Soy sauce
- Curry
- Rosemary
- Salt
- Olive oil
Method
Grate carrots, celery and cabbage and set aside. Slice onions in ring form and fry in 3 – 4 tablespoons of olive oil until slightly blanched. Pour in egg white and stir fry with soy sauce and other spices. Fill tortilla with vegetables and the egg mixture , then wrap in foil paper and place in the oven for 3 minutes until tortilla is crunchy. Serve hot.
