D’Banj declares his personal life off limit
By Oluwakemi
Kokomaster, D’Banj has declared his personal life off limit to the public. The Afropop artiste made this known when he launched his new project called CREAM, which means, Creative, Reality, Entertainment, Arts and Music.
D’banj noted that the fact that he was married was his personal business and no one else. “My marriage is my business and it is none of your business. Whether I am married or not, mind your business. If you ever see a wedding ring on my finger, fine, but if you don’t, fine.”
“The truth about it is that it is very important to know what you want as a brand. As a brand, I wanted to focus on the business side and keep my family and private life, private and concentrate on CREAM.”
“CREAM covers the whole entertainment creative industry. The thought came to me when I was appointed as the ambassador of the Bank of Industry on creativity. I realised that they were ready to fund our industry but there was no platform and I decided to take the step of getting a platform.”
News broke earlier in 2016 that the singer has reportedly held a secret wedding with his girlfriend, Lineo Didi Kilgrow.
Though the singer neither denied nor confirmed the truth about the matter, his recent comment might just be a huge sign post pointing to that the rumour may be true.
“When we have 10 million subscribers on CREAM, then I could do something in the stadium. In fact during that time, I could wed again”, he said.
