Kenneth Okonkwo, Tonto Dike- Churchill receive Peace Achievers awards

Over the weekend, Nollywood stars, Kenneth Okonkwo and Tonto Dike-Churchill, were honoured with the Peace Achievers Awards by the Peace Ambassador Agency (PAA), an organisation that promotes national peace and integration.
News report indicate that the duo, received their awards at the 5th anniversary of the annual Miss Ambassador for Peace and Peace Achievers Award held in Abuja.
Nollywood actor, Kenneth Okonkwo received the ”Actor of the year award” while his counterpart, Tonto Dike Churchill, got the ”Actress of the year award”. According to the project director of PAA, Mr Kingsley Amafibe, the initiative recognises the entertainment stars for their immense contributions to the growth of the film industry.
He also said that the recipients have been involved in philantrophy over the years that has promoted social peace and harmony. This he said is in line with the objectives of the organisation. Other recipients of the Peace Achievers Awards include, popular gospel artiste -Chris Morgan, Dennis Okwu and Toju Foyeh.
