Tiwa Savage speaks on success in life after marriage scandal

Few months ago, the young marriage of Nigerian pop queen, Tiwa Savage, 36, and her manager-turned-hubby, Teebillz was hit with scandals which led to the couple’s separation.
However, Tiwa has never let the incident bring her down, she has been soaring.
In a recent interview with Fashion Bomb TV in New York, the Mavin Records singer didn’t speak about her marriage to Tee Billz when asked.
“I did speak with ELLE Magazine recently in South Africa, and I said I would never address anything to do with my private life again because I just believe it is something sacred and that is one lesson that I have learnt,” said Tiwa Savage.
In an interview with Elle South Africamagazine, Tiwa Savage talked about keeping her private life under wraps.
“My biggest failure was exposing my private life too much. There will always be speculation, but by addressing it you are adding more fuel to the fire. I now choose not to address anything” she said in the Elle Magazine SA article.

When asked about how she maintains her peace, Tiwa Savage said “My son is literally…before I used to work hard but now there is a reason I want to live a legacy. I don’t want to be remembered as one of the biggest female artistes out of Africa. I just want to be remembered as one of the biggest artistes.”

In the interview, she further said “I also want to be remembered as a very strong woman who inspired a lot of people regardless of the challenges we go through as women. You can still achieve a lot. It’s a long road and it is a slow race and it is definitely about pacing yourself and never ever giving up.”
