Reports indicate that American rapper, Kanye West has been discharged from hospital after spending over a week receiving treatment.

He had been hospitalised for exhaustion and sleep deprivation. The ”Gold digger” rapper was expected to leave UCLA Medical Center on Monday, but was kept an extra few days.

According to TMZ , Kanye West has been released from the hospital and will be taken care of  by his wife, Kim Kardashian and their doctor, Dr Michael Farzam, who called the emergency services when Kanye was admitted . Though the rapper has been discharged , he will continue to receive pschological and medical treatment to help his recovery. Doctors reportedly believe that Kanye’s breakdown could have been triggered by the anniversary of his beloved mother’s death.

Sources also told TMZ that Kanye West had increasingly grown more emotional over the last few weeks as a result of pressures of touring, running his business, supporting wife Kim Kardashian West through her trauma of being robbed at gunpoint last month, caring for their kids North, three, and Saint, 11 months, and insomnia.
Kanye’s breaking point came with his mother’s memorial, and he cancelled his Los Angeles concert on November 20 – the same date her funeral had taken place in 2007. An insider disclosed that Kim has been patient and that they both have been through a lot but are staying strong as a married couple and helping one another get back up.
