YBNL Nation Nigerian artiste, Adekunle Gold  is scheduled to kick off his East Africa media tour tomorrow, 1st February in Nairobi, Kenya before heading to Tanzania.

Adekunle, whose debut album, Gold made it to #7 on Billboard in the first week of release said, “I’ve been getting a lot of love from Kenya – many people say that even though they don’t understand my language my music is beautiful,”

Regarding his identity and expression, the “Orente” crooner said “I am 100% African at heart – and my style is super traditional African. I don’t deny or feel shy of my roots and I make that clear everyday by the things I say and how I dress. I am into colourful prints and tie and dye.”

He also intends to hit the studio with some heavyweights like Sauti Sol, Dela and Antoneosoul.

He is also planning to meet and greet friends and fans, as he “hopefully makes more friends in Kenya”, he adds.
