”Igbo men have sexy accents”- actress, Brycee Adia Bassey

United States-born Nigerian actress, Brycee Adia Bassey, has revealed how she is fascinated by the accent of Igbo men which she considers sexy.
In a chat with Tope Hassan on Isoko Africa podcast, she also analysed some issues pertaining to discrimination in the movie industry.
The “Breatheless” actress was quoted saying; “I particularly love Igbo accent. Igbo men accent, I think are sexy. I don’t know why. Don’t laugh, but I love them.”
She also added that the only speech articulation style she is not so thrilled about is the Akwa-Ibom type. According to her, it is going to be difficult learning the Akwa Ibom accent and she cannot fake it to save her life. This was her reaction concerning some of the challenges foreign trained actors encounter while dealing with filmmakers in Nigeria.
