Nollywood actress, Yvonne Jegede is a role interpreter who is good at what she does. Popular for her cameo appearance in Tuface’s African Queen and Djinee’s Ego, Yvonne continues to wow her fans with her versatility.
The about to wed TV star, who is engaged to late Bukky Ajayi’s son, Abounce, laments her worries over the rampant celebrity marriage crisis rocking the entertainment industry and her fears for hers which is forthcoming.
“People need to go into marriage with a mindset of for better, for worse, and then you prepare your mind to make it work. It’s not like buying a house you can resell or a dress you can change if it doesn’t suit you anymore, it’s far beyond that. When you’re married, you should be ready to share your body, soul and all of you with your partner.
I don’t think lack of humility is the cause of celebrity marriage crisis, I think it’s because they married for the wrong reasons. But I have no fear for my marriage.
However, there are lots of other things that cause major breakups in marriages,” she hinted.
Jegede also added that her marital status won’t in any way affect the kind of roles she would play in movies.
“Why would it? My husband is also an actor, so he understands. He knows the business, so I don’t have restrict myself from roles. Life has been made easy for me.”
