Reality TV star, Kim Kardashain’s driver part of suspects arrested over Paris robbery case

A total of 17 persons have been arrested in the jewellery theft case involving reality TV star, Kim Kardashian in Paris in October, 2016. One of those suspects includes her driver.
Police confirmed the arrests in connection with the robbery, during which the socialite and reality TV star was held at gunpoint and robbed of jewellery said to be worth more than £8 million) by masked men in a private residence in the French capital on October 3.
The driver, 27, works for a luxury firm used by the Kardashian family while visiting Paris.
Initial reports said up to 16 men – described as career criminals – had been arrested but updated information reveals three of those taken into custody were women. Two of the arrested are also said to be diamond dealers.
Police said the arrests took place from around 6am in different locations in the Paris region and the south of France.
Multiple firearms, including an automatic pistol, and 140,000 euros (£121,000) in cash were found during the raids.
