3 Useful tips on how to get rid of back acne

The back is another delicate part of the body that needs proper care and attention. At some point, women have to deal with back acne and if not properly taken care of, back acne can turn out to be embarrassing.

Below are useful tips on how to deal with back acne according to a top dermatologist without destroying your skin:

1. Shower
Pay attention to the wash you use when showering. Stuff that have benzoyl peroxide can be irritating and harsh on the face but is suitable for the back. When you are getting a wash for your body, pick up one that contains 10% of benzoyl peroxide. Apply once in a week, smear across your back, leave in for a few minutes and then rinse off in the shower.

2. Acid infection
Do not scrub your skin with harsh exfoliators as they would irritate your skin and lead to breakouts. Instead go for products with a minimum of Salicylic and glycolic acids that helps fight acne.

3. Protection
Lastly, scars are bound to show up when fighting back acne. When you expose them to sunlight, they become darker, bigger and unfading. Treat acne scars using sun screens. By doing so, you protect your skin from further damage.
