”Originality” crooner, Chibuzor Orji, popularly called Faze, in a recent interview, opened up about his marital status, his music and some of his challenges.
According to him, he has placed his marital choice in the hands of God, due to difficulties in finding a good wife.
He said:
“It’s in the making. I’m letting God take over because it’s not easy to get a perfect woman not to talk of a perfect man. Right now, I’m concentrating on my album which is almost ready; it’s just the collaborations with artistes that’s delaying its release.”
Speaking on his music, Faze revealed that his music is inspired by the likes of Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Bob Marley, amongst others. He also added a word of advice for new artistes.
He said:
“Work hard and never give up because you never can tell when you will achieve your goals… I don’t have a specific person in life but people like Fela and Bob Marley, who have motivational words, have influenced me.”
The singer also revealed that he initially faced difficulty finding the right sound to please his fans, but says he eventually did.
