International manufacturers of African fabric, Group Africa, makers of Da Viva, ABC wax, Excellence, Nichem, ATL Inspiration and Qspice has officially announced their continued partnership with the annual Africa Fashion Week Nigeria (AFWN) 2017.

Speaking to members of the press in Lagos recently, Steven Dutton group marketing manager DaViva, revealed that DaViva which has over the years been frontline supporters of the show, decided to continue the partnership as they share a common goal with the organiser Ronke Ademiluyi.

A goal which is a mutual aim to develop the African fashion industry by supporting upcoming designers which he says, the forthcoming show will certainly do.

Dutton informed that this year’s event will see the return on the runway of one of Nigeria’s old time favourite prints -ABC Wax , which will be relaunched via a rich collection designed by some of Nigeria’s top and seasoned designers including Modela , House of Regalia , Zizi Cardow and Maufechi.

This new and unique collection by DaViva will be done via a Solo show exclusively for the fabric company on Saturday, June 3rd, day one of the fashion week, at the National Arts Theater and will  be streamed live on Da Viva social media channels all through the show.

Over 50 designers are expected to showcase at this year’s AFWN, which holds at the iconic National Arts Theater Lagos, on the 3rd and 4th of June.

Da Viva have been partners of Africa Fashion Week London and Nigeria for seven years running and  the founder Ms Ronke Ademiluyi  is delighted to have them as a major part of the fashion week this year.
