A US judge has ordered singer, Chris Brown, to stay away from his ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, for a period of five years.

The restraining order suit was filed by Karrueche after her break up from Chris.

Appearing in court today, she claimed that Chris suffers from violent streaks and usually throws tantrums.

Karrueche also claimed that the singer had sent her threatening messages, demanding the return of money and diamond rings he gave her during the period they were together.

She further stated that Brown had beaten her once and she was in fear of her life.

Brown was no where near court to defend himself.

Thus, the court gave the restraining order against him.
