Kate Middleton breaks a Countess’ fall and the internet lights up (photo)

Kate Middleton, who is the wife of Prince William, the grandson of Queen Elizabeth grabbed the internet’s attention as she stopped a Countess from toppling over on the opening day of the Royal Ascot.
The Royal Ascot is one of Britain’s most well-known racecourses, Ascot holds a special week of races in June each year called Royal Ascot, attended by The Queen, who has had an interest in horses since childhood. This week has become Britain’s most popular race meeting, welcoming around 300,000 visitors over five days, all dressed up in their finest clothes and hats.
Yesterday, Kate Middleton, who was wearing a ladylike white lace dress and complementary hat, designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen had finished making the rounds at the event and she and Prince William were due to take a horse-drawn carriage ride with the Duke’s aunt and uncle.
Prince Edward, the Queen’s youngest son, ultimately climbed into the carriage just fine, but his wife, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, nearly fell right on top of the Duchess of Cambridge.
In a moment of good reflexes, Middleton caught her aunt-in-law, with both women immediately sharing a good laugh.
Proof, perhaps, that Kate Middleton really is a normal, good-natured person.
