If I were not a DJ, I’ll be involved in my family oil business- DJ Cuppy

Florence Otedola a.k.a DJ Cuppy, the daughter of oil magnate Femi Otedola, who is also a Nigerian disc jockey, in a recent chat with Ebony TV, spoke about balancing music, school and also maintaining the business end of music.
According to DJ Cuppy, if she were not doing music, she would be into the family oil business.
However, she stated that she is very passionate about music which is her first love. She also added that she now writes for Forbes Africa as a contributor.
She said:
“People always ask me if you aren’t djing what would you be doing? I would probably be an oil trader. I mean I am very interested in what my family is into that is the business. That is something I would be great at and I can still be great at. It is something that obviously came second to music for me . For my parents and myself, it was so important to have a degree that I can fall back on. Everybody knows the music industry is very very volatile.I mean I am going to do music as long as I live”
