I was born blind – Singer, Chidinma reveals

Nigerian music sensation, Chidinma Ekile, who shot into limelight after winning Project Fame 2010, disclosed that she was born blind.
In a recent interview, the ‘Kedike’ crooner talked about her rise to fame, acting, relationship, being born blind and more.
Chidinma said:
“I was born blind. I just couldn’t see for some months.”
However, she used such experience to help visually-impaired and young people across Africa through her foundation.
She said:
“I felt the need to help kids that find themselves in such situations or worse. So every time I travel to these places, I try to extend a hand of love to these children.”
